Work in progress
It’s an outdoor event so:
BRING SOME LIGHTS (torch etc). The campsite will not have any lighting apart from what the lights you make. DON’T rely on your phone as there will not be many charging options (see below).
Prepare for mud! (although my weather guy says, sunny on Thursday, cloudy on Fri/Sat, temperature 25-28c)
Prepare not to shower! (Wet wipes are your friend)
Toilets and washrooms are available (with bog roll). Quick morning rinses may be possible for the few that can’t function without it.
Prepare for your phone to die: there will only be a few electrical sockets available, so bring a battery pack if you want your phone to live.
Bring what you would on a camping trip to make your stay comfortable.
Not a big camper myself but a few suggestions: Torch, picnic blanket, chairs, flannels & towels, water bottles, wet wipes, wellies, wet weather gear, USB battery pack & cable.
Extra blankets, as it may get cold at night.
The Hot-Tub will be open, so bring appropriate gear, if you want to use it.
There will be a drinks station with water, soft drinks, tea and coffee. Paper cup will be available but if you have reusables, bring them to save on waste.
A good selection of wine, Prosecco, beers, cider and cocktails will be available, but we cannot have everything. Feel free to bring a little extra of what you like or that half bottle that’s been sat in the cupboard for years. For me, I mainly drink beer, so I will bring a few beers (but also, as I’m a mood drinker, a tequila, a dark rum, some sparkly stuff, and…no that’s enough – they’re gonna think you have a problem).
